Will I still rely on Flash in the iOS era?
Hard to say. Damn, I love the power and the tool set of Adobe Flash. I love how interactive and “alive” a site can be, how tightly you can integrate video with a site design. But with so many iPads and iPhones out there… I don’t know. HTML 5 seems to have about 5% of the power that Flash has. But I digress. Below is a Flash site for a Master Planned Community in Asheville, NC. Only one homesite remaining, so the site may not be up much longer. This site uses a Flash-based contact form that captures analytics data, and also has an interactive community map showing nearby natural features and parks, and homesites remaining for sale. Clicking on a homesite gives you full specs, pricing, and photos. A great way to “do” real estate.
